Areas of Speciality
Life Transitions – Does everything keep changing?  Transitions can
be positive (or at least tolerable) experiences if the anxiety involved can
be understood and managed.

Relationships/Communication –  What are the realities of a 'good'
relationship?  How can you better understand and appreciate your
communication style and how it impacts others?

Depression – Having a hard time getting out of bed, smiling, and
completing tasks?  Feeling irritable?  Thinking about ending it all?
Action fights depression and starting therapy can be your first step.

Anxiety/Phobias – Whether general, specific, or socially related,
therapy can provide a safe environment to incrementally increase
exposure to the things that cause discomfort.

Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Parenting – Experience the numerous
changes in your body, your mind, and your family structure with
support.  Define who you want to be as a mother and an individual.
Acknowledge and treat postpartum mood disorders.

Grief and Loss – Because loss is seldom graceful or timely, having a
place to experience grief in your own way is essential.  Therapy can
provide a space to begin the healing process.

Self-Esteem/Empowerment – Rediscovering the core of what
defines you as a person.  Expressing that image to the world with an
increased sense of pride.

Emotional Expression – Getting in touch with the emotions hiding
behind your thoughts and behaviors.  Feeling okay about feelings.

Women’s Issues – What does it mean to be a woman today?
Challenges, victories, and areas of confusion.

Codependency/Sex and Love Addiction – Rebuild your sense of
yourself from the inside out.  Redefine your relationships with love,
sex, substances, and people.

Self-Harming Behaviors – Learn skills to understand and control self-
harming behaviors through distress tolerance, focusing, increasing
interpersonal effectiveness, and regulating emotions.
